Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve been on here. Can you believe it? I don’t even take time to update and maintain my own website. Talk about pathetic.
The last post said something about my plans to redesign this website. When I wrote that post back in March, I was thinking about doing a few minor changes and fixing some of the things that annoyed me about the design. That was back in March. Two and a half months ago. Now, I decided that this old site needed a complete new skin. And here it is. There’s still a few things to do. The header (where my name and that “happy” face is) needs to be replaced with something more…cheerful. I want to get Flickr integration working. I need more posts. But for now, I think it’ll do just fine.
So many things have changed since my last post. Wordpress, for example, has put out a new version and it’s very impressive. My designing skills have been sharpened a little as well. (This is actually comforting news to me; I haven’t really done much design lately and I’ve been wondering if my skills have been slipping.) I’ve also graduated from high school (finally) and am getting ready for college at Georgia Tech.
With all of these changes, I feel that now’s a good time for starting over again (again). Let’s see if this time I can keep this site current and fresh. (I know, I know…I say things like this all of the time, and I always end up slacking after a few months. But let’s just see.)
Here’s to starting over.
