Today was my first full day at Georgia Tech. I moved in last night around 8pm (still getting used to EST). I was the last one to arrive, so I didn’t have any choice in a bunk, but I’m quite happy with the one that I received. The room is a quad, and I have three other roommates, and I like them all. I think by the end of the semester, we’ll be a close-knit group.

This morning my Bible reading was John 13-17. Jesus’ last supper. It’s neat how my day for reading this passage ended up on the day of my own last supper.

I wonder how Jesus felt, knowing that it was time for him to leave his friends. If it felt anything like I feel now, leaving my friends and family behind and moving to Atlanta, then…I’m sure that last supper was very emotional.

I had the opportunity this morning to feed my son breakfast. Probably for the last time. I’m still trying to completely wrap my mind around that fact.
